Strategy and Finance Consultant – Intern

Commitment: 6-12 months

Company Background: DGridEnergy is a US-based social benefit company that provides renewable energy solutions that expand businesses, enhance livelihoods and empower communities by developing a refrigerated supply chain for temperature-sensitive pros in emerging markets. The company is a manufacturer of off-grid solar-powered, modular and expandable walk-in refrigeration systems for temperature sensitive products.


Role Description: The Strategy and Finance Consultant will perform a variety of management consulting and financial activities including strategic planning and financial analysis

As part of the DGridEnergy team, you will do the following:

  • Create and refine corporate presentations
  • Support business development and customer acquisition
  • Develop financial and valuation models with projections
  • Analyze and create in-depth reports on company’s financial status
  • Review and analyze company’s financial statements and reports
  • Prepare financial presentations and related marketing materials
  • Participate in team calls to discuss progress and issues to be resolved

Qualifications: We are seeking a candidate who has the following attributes and skills:

  • MBA or MBA Candidate in finance, strategy or a related field
  • Experience in solar, clean energy, logistics preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, modeling and valuation
  • Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience
  • Proficiency in deck creation and corporate presentations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel

Compensation: TBD based upon experience
